Taxi aggregator Mega Cabs on Wednesday announced its partnership with Toyota Motors to increase the number of cars in its fleet in Bengaluru city.
Under this partnership, Mega Cabs will add more than 400 Toyota Motors cars in the IT hub, in continuation of their long-standing relationship with the esteemed manufacturer.
Mega Cabs is currently present in six cities, including Delhi and Bengaluru, with a fleet size of about 2,500 cars.
"The city is one of the vital places for our business, and we have been witnessing great support from our existing customers here. With this partnership and the new addition of Toyota cars, we will be able to reach out to a larger set of customers who want a safe and comfortable ride," said Kunal Lalani, Chairperson and Director, Mega Cabs.
The company, which serves corporate clients apart from operating in the retail segment, will also soon roll out its services in Ahmedabad, Hyderabad, Chennai, Goa, and Jaipur in the first phase.
Mega Cabs is looking to invest Rs. 500 Crore in the next three years to expand its services to 20 cities, betting big on airports, railway stations and other public points of transit.
Mega cabs plans to be present in 20 cities with a fleet of about 8,000 vehicles by the year 2020.
