Mel Gibson is set to be awarded Lifetime Honour at Karlovy Vary Festival.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, the 'Braveheart' star will receive the Crystal Globe for lifetime achievement.
The 49th edition of the central European film will also screen Andrei Zvyagintsev's Cannes entry 'Leviathan' and a special screening of David Lynch's 'Wild at Heart', Hollywood Reporter reported.
The festival's highest award goes to the actor, director and producer who made his name internationally known playing the title role in George Miller's 1979 futuristic action movie 'Mad Max'.
