Ahead of the Mexican Grand Prix, a member of Mercedes' Formula 1 race team has been reportedly robbed at gunpoint in Mexico City.
As per the Sun newspaper, the team member was "shaken up" after he was targeted by thieves as a chauffeur drove him from the airport in Mexico City, reports Sport24.
As per a Mercedes spokesman, an unnamed man's watch and wallet was stolen, following which the team has decided to take extra security measures for the rest of the weekend.
It is however reported that the Mercedes team member has decided to keep working rather than return to the UK.
