Mercedes boss Toto Wolff has vowed not to change the way his team manages the tense Formula One title battle between their drivers Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg.
Wolff praised Hamilton's heart-on-sleeve approach to racing as all drama and glory. And he also said that the team's own outspoken approach to management would remain the same.
Wolff, with fellow bosses Paddy Lowe and Niki Lauda, have won praise and criticism in equal measure for the way they have allowed the two title challengers to battle it out, The Mirror reported.
And he admitted that they would make mistakes. Wolff said that it is so intense and Mercedes is breaking new ground in letting the boys race in the way they do, adding that so they are bound to make mistakes.
Wolff said that he thinks that is the way it should be, and added that one can be a politician or one can express his frustration. He added that he does not know one is right or wrong, but as a matter of fact it doesn't matter because if they lose the two championships with the cars Mercedes have, then they have failed.
And if Mercedes win, he said that people are going to remember that they had difficult situations and managed them probably in the right way.
Meanwhile, Wolff also said that if one looks at Hamilton's career, drama and glory were always very near each other.
