Murdered British student Meredith Kercher's grieving family has said that they are still on a journey to the truth.
Meredith's sister, Stephanie, said that the fact they won't ever know what happened that night is something that they'll have to come to terms with.
The comment comes after the Italian court reinstated the guilty verdict against Amanda Knox and Raffaele Sollecito for the 2007 murder, the BBC reported.
The court sentenced Knox to 28 years and six months, and Sollecito to 25 years, on Thursday, with their lawyers saying they would appeal.
Knox remains in the US and Meredith's family is calling for her extradition.
According to reports, her Italian former boyfriend Sollecito is being held by cops after he was found in Udine, near the Slovenian and Austrian borders.

Meredith's brother Lyle said that he believed extradition would be appropriate if one has been found guilty and convicted of a murder, and if an extradition law exists between the two countries.
Knox, 26, has previously said that she would only be extradited to Italy from the US kicking and screaming.
