The Metropolitan Police has finally concluded investigations into Princess Diana's alleged 'murder plot,' it has been revealed.
After the Princess of Wales, her lover Dodi Fayed and driver Henri Paul, were killed in a car crash in Paris in 1997, investigations in both Paris and London concluded that the crash happened because Paul was driving while intoxicated.
However, Scotland Yard had to reopen the case after a former SAS sniper, dubbed Soldier N, claimed that Diana was assassinated by the elite regiment's secret hit squad, Radar Online reported.
Now, a spokesperson of the police department told a UK publication that they have finished looking into Soldier N's claims and are in the process of drawing up conclusions.
The findings in the case will reportedly be made public before the end of December after they have been communicated to the families and interested parties.
