A report has revealed that 12 days after the MH17 flight was downed, investigators have not yet been able to access the crash site in Ukraine.
Attempts to begin forensic investigation at the crash site in Eastern Ukraine were foiled again as Ukraine's National Security and Defense Council warned that separatists may have laid landmines and set up firing positions on the road to the Malaysian Airlines flight crash site, the CNN reported.
Dutch investigators in Ukraine also maintained that unsafe conditions prevented the team from visiting the site, a claim that was reiterated by the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe team. They however, made no mention of the landmines.
