Former Pakistani captain Javed Miandad has reportedly expressed doubts over claims made by the Najam Sethi-led Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) that Pakistan will play six bilateral series with India between 2015 and 2023.

Under a MoU with the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), the former PCB board claimed Pakistan will host India for a two-Test series at a neutral venue next year which would be followed by five other bilateral series, three of which would be hosted by Pakistan and two by India.

However, The Nation reports that Miandad is doubtful over the value of MoU as the BCCI itself is in a state of uncertainty and said that no one is sure whether ousted chairman N Srinivasan will remain in power any longer.

Miandad also said that there is no legality of any agreements signed by the PCB headed by Sethi with other boards as it was working on ad-hoc basis and could only hold elections, adding that it is strange that the BCCI had neither reacted not released any statement over the MoU.

Miandad further said he was happy to see that the courts had been restoring these employees and hoped that when Zaka Ashraf took charge he would also set things right.
