Michelle Obama has recently given a new look to the White House state dining room and the changes have swept a whopping amount of 5,90,000 US dollars.
The re-decor includes new silk drapes in beige and blue stripes as well as a new set of mahogany dining chairs, reported E! Online.
However, this is not the first time that the 51-year-old First Lady has upped the decor at the White House as she had replaced the fine china with a new set of Kailua Blue, given a mini facelift to the Old Family Dining Room and added her own personal finishing touches all throughout.
It is being said that the cost of re-decoration was paid for by the White House Endowment Trust, which is a private fund run by the White House Historical Association.
