Microsoft has decided to roll out Office 365 to students across the globe free of cost.
The company said on Tuesday that the offer was being extended anywhere Office is available, from Afghanistan to Zimbabwe, or dozens of countries around the world. It added that schools must license Office in order for its students to be eligible, reported PC World.
The move came two years after Microsoft announced that it would offer Microsoft Office to U.S. students for free.
Students can go to office.com/getoffice365 and enter a school-provided email address, and teachers can visit the office.com/teachers site and do the same.
