Microsoft has reportedly announced that it would bring some big changes to its Office 365 suite, which would include social and machine learning technology.

When these technologies are integrated into the Office suite later this year, social collaboration would become more of a centerpiece of the tightly integrated suite.

According to Cnet, Microsoft has built the 'Office Graph,' an extension of the Enterprise Graph concept in Yammer, is the machine-learning tech as it analyses content, user interactions and activity streams and mas the relationships among these technologies so that it can surface the most relevant content appropriate for each user.

The software giant has been also working on a number of new "experiences," or apps that make use of the Office Graph, including an application code-named 'Oslo.'

Oslo presents content or information presented in the form of 'cards,' which could show information such as who was in a particular meeting, trending discussions, or which documents were shared with a user via OneDrive, Yammer, e-mail, or other means.

Another of the new Office Graph-powered features is known as 'Groups,' which is similar to the way groups currently work in Yammer, providing a unified view of people, conversations, calendars, e-mails, and files across the Office 365 suite.

The report said that another feature Inline Social, powered by the Office Graph, would enable users to have conversations right inside their documents on SharePoint Online and OneDrive for Business.
