Devi has been squarely blamed for July 16 tragedy at the school in Gandaman Village in Bihar's Chhapra District by the state authorities.
R.Lakshmanan, the director of the state midday meal programme, said the school will be merged with the nearest middle school, which has a better midday meal infrastructure.
Saran District Superintendent of Police Sujit Kumar was quoted by media, as saying that the threat to attach Meena Devi's property, would force her to come forward.
According to district officials probing the incident, Princiapal Meena Devi had forced the cook to use the oil despite the latter's complaint that it had a pungent smell.
