At least 150 Bangladeshi human trafficking victims rescued by Myanmar Navy recently have returned to their homeland this afternoon.
Myanmar Border Guard Police handed over the trafficking victims to the Border Guard Bangladesh on the no man's land following a four hour-long flag meeting between the latter and Myanmar Immigration and Registration Department, reported The Daily Star.
The victims will now be kept at a temporary camp in the Tumbru Primary School premises in Bandarbans from where they will be taken to Cox Bazar's Cultural Centre. They will be handed over to their families later.
