Pakistan Human Rights Minister Shireen Mazari on Friday hit back at Lord Nazir stating that the Member of British Parliament should mind his business and not dictate the terms of dialogue over Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK).
Deeming him irrelevant, Mazari tweeted, "Britisher Lord Nazir shd stop telling us what we should or should not say on Kashmir. My views on Kashmir have been discussed with Kashmiris over decades - as a Pakistani I have every right to speak on Kashmir - Nazir shd mind his own business & focus on his growing irrelevance!"
This comes after Lord Nazir called out the Minister of Human Rights Mazari and asked her not to speak about the Kashmir issue.
"Kashmir dispute was damaged by the appointing Maulana Fazl-ur-Rehman as head of the Kashmir Committee for the last 10 years. Kashmir dispute was kept away from the limelight", Lord Nazir had said earlier.
He had also stated that in order to raise the issues of occupied Kashmir to the international community, members of parliament were required to be completely aware of the dispute.
Nazir has long been a supporter of 'Azaad Kashmir' which is occupied by Pakistan and has called out Pakistan's duplicity over the region and its indifferent attitude towards the people of the region.

Nazir asserted that Pakistan-occupied Kashmir was a separate state, and Pakistan's constitution and its laws carry no authority or jurisdiction in the region.
"These people sitting in Islamabad [establishment] should think that how can they enforce their constitution and laws on the occupied Kashmir", Nazir said.
