Minnie Driver will be staring as the female lead in the CBS' upcoming comedy show 'Happy Life' opposite Steven Weber.
The NBC's 'About a Boy' star tweeted the news that she would be doing CBS' upcoming comedy pilot from Warner Bros. TV and written by 'Modern Family' executive producer Bill Wrubel, Deadline.com reported.
The 45-year-old English actress added that she might take her CBS' upcoming role in second position to her NBC's present series as she would remain with the show if it comes up with its third season, and CBS would have to recast.
The 'Happy Life' will focus on family man Joe (Weber) who struggles with the fact that everyone around him is pursuing their dreams and enjoying their lives more than he is, whereas Maggie (Driver), Joe's wife is a former doctor who left the grind behind to embark on a new career teaching people 'mindful meditation' out of her home studio.
