Indian tennis ace Sania Mirza and her Swiss partner Martina Hingis maintained their scintillating run by clinching their eighth women's doubles title of the year at the China Open on Saturday.
The top seeded Indo-Swiss pair bounced back brilliantly from their first-set defeat to claim a 6-7 (9-11), 6-1, 10-8 win over the Taiwanese pair of Chan Hao-ching and Chan Yung-jan in the summit clash that lasted one hour and 40 minutes.
Mirza and Hingis have won eight women's doubles titles this year, including two Grand Slam titles at Wimbledon and the US Open, since joining forces in March.
