Excited with the successful staging of international cricket in his home country, Pakistan's Test team captain Misbah-ul-Haq has urged more international teams to visit the nation.

Pakistan is currently hosting its first one-day international series against Zimbabwe on home soil after six years since the 2009 terror attack on visiting Sri Lankan team, killing six people and leaving eight players injured.

Misbah said that the people in Pakistan still love the game, adding that the passion was still there and that was evident from the jam-packed stadium, the Tribune reported.

He insisted that it gave a clear-cut message throughout the world that they cannot just separate the Pakistani nation from cricket.

He also said that every country, especially the cricket-playing nations, should come to Pakistan and help Pakistan out.

The ongoing series has got an overwhelming response from the cricket fans in Pakistan and they are coming in large numbers to support their team.

Pakistan beat Zimbabwe on Friday to secure its first ODI series win at home since 2008.
