Pakistan Test skipper Misbah-ul-Haq has said that he will bid adieu to international cricket after taking on arch rivals India for one last time.

The 42-year-old batsman, who has retired from ODI cricket after 2015 World Cup, is hopeful that the neighbours would once again clash with each other, after officials from the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) held talks for a potential series later this year.

Misbah said that he knows that there is not much cricket left in him and, therefore, if the series against India happens, he wants to play that series and probably retire after that, the Dawn reported.

He further said that he was anxiously waiting for Test cricket in Pakistan, hoping that before he retires, he could to play in his country.

Misbah has only played five of his 58 Tests for Pakistan at home and was overrun with emotions when Zimbabwe became the first nation to visit the country after terrorist attack on Lankan team in Lahore in 2009.
