After the Burial guitarist Justin Lowe was found dead after being reported missing 3 days before. He was 32.
The body of the metalcore band's founding member was discovered near the St. Croix River in Minnesota, by a hiker on Tuesday, July 21, People magazine reported.
He had been reported missing since July 18.
Back in June, Lowe had reportedly posted a lengthy Facebook message declaring his plans to exit the group.
Following that, the band's official Facebook page shared a note which read: "This is a very sad and hurtful situation for us to grasp, and unfortunately it is one we still don't fully understand. Our dear friend, our brother onstage and off, has fallen into a very broken state of mind. A state that despite our continued efforts, we have been powerless to get him out of."
They had also noted that Lowe had been missing before with minimal contact, which gave them reason to believe "he was unsafe in his current state of mind," suggesting that he possibly had a mental health disorder.
As per the authorities, Lowe's injuries were likely due a fall, however no official cause of death has been released.
