Families of 43 Mexican students, who went missing and were allegedly killed by drugs gang, have taken to streets leading mass protests in the capital.
According to the BBC, some protesters clashed with the police near the presidential palace. However, largely the protests had been peaceful.
Many people hope that the students are alive and refuse to accept the official explanation by authorities.
Hours before the marches started, masked protesters clashed with police near the airport.
Francisco Lagro, father of one of the missing students, said that it has been two months without knowing where they are.
He also said that they were desperate to know their whereabouts.
