British sprinter Mo Farah made an imperious return to the track by winning a 5000-metre race at the Diamond League in Lausanne, Switzerland.

This was his first race since the doping claims have been put on his coach Alberto Salazar.

The 32-year old athlete completed the race in 13 minutes and 11.77 seconds, and answered his critics in a befitting manner.

Ecstatic with the win, Mo Farah said that this was a way to answer some of the critics regarding his coach, who in his view was 100 percent clear, the BBC reported.

He added that he has answered all the questions as an athlete and all he wanted to do now was to do his best and enjoy.

The race was Farah's first in six weeks and his at 5,000m this season.

Farah kicked away from Ethiopia's Yomif Kejelcha in the final 100 metres of the 5,000m race, who completed the race in 13mins and 12.59secs.
