The mobile internet service, which was suspended across Gujarat yesterday following Patidar Anamat Andolan Samiti (PAAS) leader Hardik Patel's arrest, has been resumed in the state barring Surat.
The ban on internet services in Surat will, however, continue till 12 pm tomorrow.
Director General of Police P.C. Thakur had yesterday said that mobile internet services were banned in the entire state to curb the rumours and prevent any untoward incident.
Patel along with 78 supporters were taken to the police headquarters in Surat yesterday for trying to take out the 'Ekta Yatra' without prior permission from the authorities.
