Sarah Hyland, one of the protagonists from the award winning show 'Modern Family' recently ripped a fan apart on social media after she body shamed her co-star Ariel winter, who plays her sister on the show.
In a rather brash comment the fan wrote on Hyland's Instagram post, "You went from being the hottest to second hottest (Ariel being first) and now being the hottest until @arielwinter can get back in shape. Lmao"
The 26-year-old starlet did not mince words as she came down heavily on the fan and responded saying, "This is not nice on any level. Ariel is beautiful young woman just how she is. Shame on you for pitting women against each other."
Hyland's co-star and love interest on the show Andy Bovine also commented on the thread saying "get em gurl!" to which she responded with a kiss emoticon.
Ariel, who recently underwent a controversial breast reduction surgery following weight gain, became the target for comments which ranged from body shaming to hate statements.
