Predicting victory for the Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led- Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Government in the upcoming 2019 Lok Sabha elections; Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya asserted that we are here to rule for next 25 years.
Addressing the gathering in Allahabad at Namami Gange programme, Prasad said, "Our government is here to rule for the next 25 years. We are working for the betterment of the people and because of this, I am confident of BJP's victory in the upcoming 2019 Lok Sabha elections."
The Uttar Pradesh Government led by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has launched a new awareness drive called Namami Gange Jagriti Yatra under which Jan jagran yatra (public awareness march) is also organised.
Through various jan sabhas (public meetings), the BJP will ask people to votes for candidates who talk about the rights of people, which is 'Jal, jungle, zameen' (water, forest and land), and promise to create opportunity of quality and inexpensive education and health services in the state.
On the other hand, Namami Gange drive will focus on cleanliness along the banks of Ganga river and maintain hygiene.
The drive has been organised by Uttar Pradesh Homeguard volunteers and will help in spreading awareness in about 25 districts situated on the banks of River Ganga in the state.
