Asserting that Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led government is laying new standards of democratic accountability and has set a unique example of public contact, Union Minister and BJP leader Ravi Shankar Prasad on Sunday said policy paralysis has ended and decisive politics has taken over under the NDA regime.
Addressing the media on the sidelines of the BJP's national executive meeting in Allahabad, Prasad highlighted the NDA government's achievements in the last two years in office.
"No corruption has taken place under our government. Our government works on the ground of no policy paralysis and decisive leadership," he added.
Prasad said the NDA government has struck a balance between rural and urban development unlike the previous UPA regime.
"We also showed that reform and public welfare can go together. There is no disconnect, the bureaucracy will deliver and implement the decision taken by the political leadership, this never happened before. The previous government was always in dilemma on such issues. Moreover, the simmering disconnect between the defence policies and foreign policies has also been completely resolved," he added.
The Union Minister further said BJP president Amit Shah primarily during the meeting discussed about two things: first the successful completion of two years of government and second the party's performance in the assembly elections of coromandel states.

"Amit Shah in his inaugural address discussed about two decisive incidents. First that under the governance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) successfully completed two years at the Centre; second the assembly elections which took place this year where the BJP performed well," said Prasad.
"In Assam, we got full majority which opened the gateway of the north-east for the BJP, in Kerala we got one seat and 15 percent vote share along with allies. Where as in West Bengal, we got 10 percent vote share with our partners in the state. So, it seems like a good start for the BJP in the coromandel states, where it has won in one of the states and made its presence more prominent in other states," he added.
Prasad further said the BJP has spread it wings across the nation from Kashmir to Kanyakumari and from Kutch to Guwahati.
The BJP national executive meeting began at Allahabad in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi this evening.
Prime Minister Modi, who arrived here for the meet earlier today, told the BJP workers not to take the opposition lightly and counter their accusations by working for the people.
According to sources, Prime Minister Modi made this assertion during a meeting with the BJP's national office bearers' held ahead of the two-day national executive meet that is going to discuss several crucial issues, including the next assembly polls due next year in five states particularly in Uttar Pradesh.
According to sources, the office bearers meeting discussed many issues, beside the Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections, achievements of the NDA government in last two years and organisational matters.
Sources said the party leaders also deliberated upon the issues to be included in political resolution.
