Taking a dig at Prime Minister Narendra Modi over the announcement of a special package for Bihar, Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Manoj Jha termed it as a 'charity auction'.

"He is not the super king and we are not living in medieval ages. What Bihar wanted was Bihar's right and what you have done is a charity auction. It's absolutely demeaning the very office of the Prime Minister," said Jha.

Reacting to the announcement, the RJD leader questioned the package, saying Modi merged everything which is ongoing and tried to convey to the people of Bihar that it was a special package.

"You have merged everything which is ongoing. Few new things have come and he tries to convey to the people that this is a special package. It's a blatant cover-up for the denial to Bihar; there have been no talks on that. How shall we invite investment if there is no excise duty?" asked Jha.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi had yesterday announced Rs. 1.25 lakh crore special package for Bihar. He said that this package would change fate of Bihar and development work will be speeded up.
