A blog by renowned fast bowling coach Ian Pont has praised young Indian quickie Mohit Sharma and said that he could become one of the nation's finest seam and swing bowlers in the future.
According to Pakpassion.net, the pacer's man of the match performance in the 4th ODI against Zimbabwe on his international debut consisted of the makings of a trademark and was good for the future of fast bowling in India.
Pont revealed that in the past, he had seen Sharma refine his action and simplifying deliveries during training camps set up by Haryana Cricket and he had learned fast to become accurate, along with keeping things simple, which was the reason why Pont thought he could be a huge success.
