French football club AS Monaco has reportedly offered Chelsea defender Ashley Cole a 12 million-pound two-year deal at the club.
Monaco, who have qualified for the Champions League next season by finishing runners up in Ligue 1, want Cole to join their club and strengthen their squad for next season's campaign.
According to the Daily Express, speculations are that Cole's representatives have already been approached and the defender is aware of Monaco's interest in him.
The deal is reportedly a lucrative one for the England International as Monaco will match the defender's 1,20,000 pounds-a-week wages and he would not be paying any income tax on his earnings in the Principality.
Cole is planning on leaving Chelsea after not being offered a new contract and speculations are that apart from Monaco, the defender has other offers from MLS club New York Red Bulls, while Liverpool and Real Madrid are also interested, the report added.
