The man, who was accused of stabbing Morgan Freeman's granddaughter, has pleaded not guilty to her murder in a Manhattan courtroom.
Lamar Davenport appeared in the courtroom on September 22 with his attorneys to enter his plea, reports TMZ.com.
According to sources, the accused has been on psychiatric hold since E'Dena Hines' death on August 16.
During the hearing, the D.A. said the Freeman's granddaughter had 25 stab wounds but the initial reports said it was 15.
