Chelsea new manager Jose Mourinho has said that he will dismiss the club's players if they are found to be misbehaving, in a bid to protect the club's image and reputation.

Mourinho's statement comes after captain John Terry, Ashley Cole and Eden Hazard have been linked with different controversies with Cole's recently leaked smoking pictures, the Mirror reports.

Mourinho claimed that if the players are professionals and give more value to the club than themselves then they must respect the relationship with him, with other players and the club, adding that if the players are selfish and show least care for the club, its image and the fans, the club is not in safe hands.

Mourinho also said that the groups that take the club's image seriously and follow the rules like a doctrine make it easy both for other players and the manager but the groups that reject the rules, a problematic relationship thrives in the club between the players and the manager.

Mourinho further said that he will make the rules clear to the Chelsea players when he meets them on July 10 and confidently claimed that if the club supports the manager, misbehaving players will be suspended from the club.
