Former Manchester United manager David Moyes has described La Liga as a better tournament than the Premier League.
Moyes stated that he had turned down offers from clubs in the Premier League, and admitted that Real Sociedad has given him an opportunity to compete against the best, as he believes La Liga contains the finest players and great coaches to test himself against the finest ones, The BBC reported.
Replacing Jagoba Arrasate, Moyes has signed a deal that would keep him at the club till 2016. He further said that the team consists of talented players, filled with great confidence. His job would be to extract the best out of them in a way that they could compete against the best.
Moyes, who is Sociedad's fourth British manager, would take charge for the first time at Deportivo on 22 November.
