Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Monday said that he would contemplate a probe against his Cabinet colleague Kusum Mehdele, presently in the midst of a controversy for kicking a beggar boy, after going through the clarification submitted by her.
"She has given her explanation and sent it to me. I will see to it and if necessary the probe will be done," Singh said.
Mehdele was sweeping a road near a bus stand yesterday afternoon in Panna as part of a cleanliness drive when the teenager pleaded with her to give a rupee. She instead kicked him on his head following which the child was caught by security personnel.
