In a noble move, a wedding ceremony of an underprivileged girl was organised by the teachers of a government school at Vidisha's Piparhunta village in Madhya Pradesh.
The teachers of this school organised the wedding of Vandana, who is the daughter of Munnalal Vishwakarma, a poor labourer.
Vandana's father a daily wage worker is the lone bread winner in the family of nine and was unable to arrange funds for his daughters' wedding.
Meanwhile, teachers of the Government Primary School understood Vishwakarma's grief and took responsibility for incurring all the expenses.
Kailash Arya, one of the Teachers of in the school said, "We had been saving money from our salaries to support the wedding ceremony of the girl. We will continue to take up similar initiatives in future."
The wedding was organised at the school premises.

400 people were invited for this unique wedding ceremony.
Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan also hailed the endeavour and tweeted, "Teachers of the govt. school in Piparhunta, Vidisha have set an example with the benign act of saving money from their salaries to support the marriage of an underprivileged girl. Their effort has touched me deeply. The society is in need of more Samaritans like them."
