Madhya Pardesh Lokayukta team has recovered disproportionate assets from the premises of state excise department Assistant Commissioner Naval Singh Jadaon.
Besides Rs 32 lakh cash, the team also recovered several kilos of gold and silver, four luxury cars, petrol pumps and papers related to the purchase of several acres of farm land.
"We received a complaint about disproportionate assets. After that, we started investigating the matter under the Corruption Prevention Act. We have found Rs 32 lakh, gold and silver jewellery and two houses in Dhar. We also found papers related to four flats in Gayatri colony and some petrol pumps as well as farming lands," said DSP Daulat Singh.
The investigation is still on and the cost of recovered goods is expected to go further up.
