The Director General (DG) of National Police Bureau, Muhammad Amlish, has been given charge of the Federal Investigation Agency, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif's Office said on Tuesday.
Amlish, who was serving at BPS 21 level in the Police Service of Pakistan, will replace FIA Director General Tehseen Anwar Shah, reports Dawn.
Amlish has so far served as Inspector General of Police Balochistan, Additional IG Special Branch Punjab Police, Additional IG Investigation Punjab Police, DIG Headquarters Punjab Police and Capital City Police Officer (Lahore).
