The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Saturday said that Samajwadi Party (SP) leader Mulayam Singh has opted out of the Patna rally as he does not want to carry the baggage of Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) chief Lalu Prasad Yadav.

"Mulayam Singh has opted not to be in the Patna rally and I think he also knows the baggage of Lalu Prasad Yadav. Nitish Kumar is already a victim of the baggage of Lalu Prasad Yadav and the day he decided to join hands with the latter, his entire credibility was eroded," BJP leader Rajiv Pratap Rudy told ANI.

"All these forces are forces of contradiction, polity of contradiction and it's not going to survive for long. The whole agenda is to stop the BJP and stop the NDA, which actually the people in this country would not accept," he added.

The Bihar unit of Samajwadi Party has been protesting over denial of seats in the grand alliance for Bihar election.

Earlier, SP had sought 17 seats which had been revised and a final claim for 12 seats had been given to the RJD chief on which a decision was to be taken.

Lalu Prasad today announced five seats for SP in Bihar, including two from RJD.
