The Janata Dal (United) on Thursday defended its seat sharing strategy under the 'Maha Gathabandhan' process, and also said that 'every seat in Bihar belongs to Samajwadi Party leader Mulayam Singh Yadav'.

"Every seat in Bihar belongs to Netaji, he is our leader, and as far as he is concerned every seat in Bihar is of Mulayam Singh," said Sanjay Singh, a JD(U) leader.

Responding to a question on Mulayam being ignored because his party had no significant presence in Bihar, Singh said, everything is happening at the command of Mulayam Singh.

"Everything has been done on his commands, we are following his orders," said Singh.

The JD(U) leader praised SP Supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav for uniting all parties against communal forces.

"The movement against the communal forces has been initiated by him, he has been the main force in bringing all the leaders under one umbrella," Singh told ANI.
