The Indian Coast Guard on Wednesday rescued fourteen fishermen on board an adrift boat.
The fishing boat, Seagull, which went missing since last ten days after battling rough sea conditions with heavy rains, sent out a distress call on September 17 from around 137 miles from Mumbai.
Coast Guard Dornier located the boat after which ship Smudra Prahari sailed from Mumbai on September 18.
After struggling and braving through very rough seas, it located the boat and towed it and the crew safely to Mumbai.
It handed over the boat to fisheries department today.
