Canadian filmmaker Xavier Dolan's film titled "Laurence Anyways" will be screened at Alliance Francaise de Bombay here TODAY at 6.30 p.m.
The screening is open to all, with free entry on a first-come-first-served basis.
Meanwhile, in a separate though related develpment, the city of Toronto will be hosting a frestival of documentaries on India and Nepal at the Hot Docs film fest from April 23 to May 3, reports a Canadian High Commission newsletter release.
Nine documentaries from India will be featured at this year's "Made in" segment of the annual Hot Docs Canadian International Documentary Festival.
The segment will showcase some of India's finest contemporary non-fiction cinema in celebration of India's contribution to the documentary art form. In addition, this year's festival will also screen other documentaries set in India and Nepal or pertaining to an Indian subject or character.
