Britain number one Andy Murray knocked out title holder Stan Wawrinka in four sets to reach his first French Open final on Friday.

Second seed Murray displayed one of his best clay-court performance to claim a 6-4, 6-2, 4-6, 6-2 win over Wawrinka to set up a mouth-watering summit clash against world number one Novak Djokovic.

On the other hand, Djokovic remains only one win away from completing his career Grand Slam after demolishing Austrian challenger Dominic Thiem in a lopsided semifinal contest.

This was Djokovic's six consecutive Grand Slam finals and will battle out for his 12 major title on Sunday.
