Defending champion Andy Murray is reportedly looking forward to start his Wimbledon title defence later this month claiming that there are a lot of plus points to take out of his two weeks in Paris after he lost the French Open semifinals to Rafael Nadal.

Murray claims that he is at the required level to defend his title at SW19 and that he would take 'positive energy' from returning to Wimbledon after losing 6-3, 6-2, 6-1 to Nadal in straight sets in the Roland Garros semifinal.

According to the Mirror, Murray will now prepare to play the Aegon Championships at Queen's Club next week and then begin his Wimbledon title defence.

Murray said that he expects to play well at the green grass of home after he lost to the eight-time champion on clay, adding that he is really looking forward to going back and feels that it would give him a lot of positive energy.

Murray said that he is glad that he is back playing to a level that was able to get him through to the last stage of slams, adding that he just needs that extra few percent so that he can give himself a chance to try and win them again, but the grass would obviously help him.

The Scot added that grass is a surface he has always enjoyed playing on and feels that it is been his most successful surface over his career and he is really looking forward to Wimbledon.
