World number one Andy Murray has committed to play in the Aegon Championships at Queen's Club for the rest of his career.

The Wimbledon warm-up tournament has proved to be Murray's most successful hunting ground, with the Briton becoming the first player to be crowned king of Queen's five times when he defeated Milos Raonic in the final last year.

Murray went on to beat the Canadian again few weeks later to lift the Wimbledon trophy for the second time.

Pointing out that his first ATP World Tour match win came at Queen's in 2005, the 29-year-old admitted that it is by far the best tournament of his career and that he is extremely glad to commit to it as long as his career lasts.

"I've always loved playing the event and I'm really happy to know that I will play at Queen's for as long as my career lasts. My first ATP World Tour match win came at Queen's in 2005 so for it to become by far the most successful tournament of my career is a great feeling," Sport24 quoted Murray as saying.

"Looking at the names that have won the tournament four times - some of the best players ever - winning it five times means a lot to me," he added.

This year's tournament is slated to take place from June 19 to June 25.
