American actress Glenn Close will be honoured at the 32nd annual Salute of one of New York's most vibrant cultural institutions, Museum of the Moving Image.
The museum's executive director and board of trustees, on Wednesday, announced that the ceremony will take place on December 3 in New York, confirmed The Hollywood Reporter.
Praising the actress, they also stated that, Glenn holds a special place in the cultural life of New York. She balances her work in movies and television along with devotion towards live theatre.
Next starring in 'The Wife', Glenn is one of the most acclaimed actresses with nominations for six Academy Awards, 12 Golden Globes, 12 Emmys, and four Tonys.
Warren Beatty, Tom Cruise, Clint Eastwood, Robert DeNiro, Robin Williams, Tom Hanks, Hugh Jackman, Steve Martin, Julianne Moore, Al Pacino, Julia Roberts, Steven Spielberg and Jimmy Stewart are among others who have been honoured at the museum.
