Former Pakistan President General Pervez Musharraf was admitted to hospital in Karachi on Thursday after complaining of sudden chest pain.
Musharraf was rushed to the PNS Shifa where he had been undergoing treatment for the last two years, the Express Tribune reported.
Doctors at the hospital were quoted, saying that they are yet to take a call on whether the former president would remain admitted in the hospital for a few days.
The All Pakistan Muslim League's spokesperson, Aasia Ishaque, confirmed the news of Musharraf's admission to the intensive care unit of the hospital.
Ishaque said doctors have conducted a few tests and would inform the family about medical prognosis.
