Muzaffarnagar Police have confirmed the arrest of two more persons for their role in a riot-related incident in the area.
Police said Friday that Arvind and Mohit were arrested for allegedly killing a person identified as Nazim in Jauli village of the district at the height of the communal violence last year.
According to a Special Investigation Team (SIT), cases have been filed against eleven persons involved in the case, and so far, four of the accused have been arrested.
At least 60 persons lost their lives in riots that took place in Muzaffarnagar and its neighbouring districts in September last year.
