World No.1 Rafael Nadal will meet Serbian second seed Novak Djokovic in the final of the Italian Open on Sunday after both of them won their respective semi-final clashes on Saturday.
The top-seeded Spaniard, who will be defending his title, followed up Friday's win over Andy Murray by brushing aside Grigor Dimitrov 6-2, 6-2 in the semifinals while Djokovic had fought his way past big-serving Milos Raonic 6-7 (5-7), 7-6 (7-4), 6-3.
According to the BBC, Nadal will take on Djokovic for the 41st time on Sunday, with the Spaniard leading 22-18 overall but Djokovic is 7-4 up in ATP Masters finals.
Meanwhile, world number one Serena Williams and Italian 10th seed Sara Errani will contest the women's final with Errani being the first Italian woman for 29 years to reach the final in Rome, the report added.
