Namibian High Commissioner to India, Pius Dunaiski, called on Union Agriculture Minister Radha Mohan Singh here.
The Agriculture Minister, who welcomed the Namibian High Commissioner yesterday, expressed his delight over the excellent bilateral relations between both the countries.
Singh remembered the state visit of Namibian President, Hifikepunye Pohamba to India in 2009, when a number of joint ventures were announced in the field on nuclear energy, defence, mining and energy, ICT, education and health.
He also mentioned that through Asia-Africa Summit and other mechanisms, India is keen for greater and more intense engagement with Africa at Pan Africa, regional and bilateral level.
The Namibian High Commissioner requested the Agriculture Minister to extend cooperation in Dairy Sector through National Dairy Development Board (NDDB) and other agencies.
The Agriculture Minister assured the High Commissioner to extend all possible cooperation in dairy as well as agriculture and allied sectors.
