Former Test player Nasser Hussain has said that by picking Stuart Broad, Steven Finn, Chris Tremlett and Boyd Rankin in their Ashes squad, England have given Australia something to think about.
According to Sport24, the tall quartet of pacemen are all capable of bowling at speeds in excess of 90-mph and will find the hard wickets to their liking when the test series starts in Brisbane in November.
Hussain said that some of the Australian players like Michael Clarke do not play the short ball very well, and they want to go after them, adding that it was why the team had selected this side.
Hussain, who now works as a Sky commentator, also expressed he would have preferred some variety in the selection with the inclusion of swing bowler Graham Onions, the report said.
