Dense fog and cold weather conditions continue in the national capital as the mercury plunges to 2.6 degree Celsius, five notches below normal on Monday.

The maximum temperature recorded is 18.3 degree, two notches below normal.

Early morning dense fog has also affected the movement of trains and flight operations, with visibility being less than 50 metres.
