Congress Party on Saturday strongly condemned the dastardly terrorist attacks in Paris, and called for unity among nations to neutralize perpetrators of such attacks.

Dubbing the attacks as 'dreadful', Congress leader Manish Tewari said that all nations must stand in solidarity with France.

"What has happened in Paris deserves to be condemned in strongest words possible. All democracies, all right thinking people and all nations must stand in solidarity with France and Paris at this point in time," Tewari told ANI.

"These dastardly terrorists, who kill innocent people in the name of the religion, need to be defeated, repudiated, and demolished. The nations must stand together and ensure that these terrorists are neutralized," he added.

Echoing similar views, Congress leader Pramod Tiwari said that the fight against terrorism should be intensified.

"This is the worst terror attack since the 26/11 Mumbai attacks. I am saddened to hear this and we condemn it. We must intensify our fight against terror. There cannot be a distinction between good and bad terrorists," he said.
